The wise traveler leaves no tracks upon the path.
The true speaker offers words without a flaw.
The natural counter needs no tally of sticks.
The master guardian uses no lock or key,
yet the door cannot be opened.
The subtle binder uses no cord or knot,
yet the tie cannot be loosened.

Therefore the sage saves all people,
no soul is cast away.
She saves all things,
no thing is left to waste.
This is called following the light.

Thus, the good are teachers of those who are not good;
those who are not good are the material of the good.
If one does not value the teacher
or cherish the material,
then even with great knowledge,
one is deeply confused.
This is the essential mystery.
